When I first got the car it would roll coal at full throttle, and after hard acceleration would have shaky, low idle for a bit, then smooth out. Got this car recently from a friend, has a stack of service receipts from dealer since new, one of them was for turbo actuator repair at 90k, so I thought that might be it, again, but next morning it was back to "normal" ACCELERATION, still slow, but I guess that's what 90hp feels like.Ĭar is bone stock, 190,000 miles, head was replaced at 150k (broken glow plugs), timing belt was done at same time. Was getting on a highway, 4th gear, accelerating and it just lost power at 3,000 rpm, stopped accelerating, no smoke, no warning lights, just felt like I lost all boost, would not go past 70, but taking off and first maybe 1/3 pedal felt peppy like NA would, so I just drove it home ![]()
